Kuwaiti indices down on Sunday amid thin trade
The turnover fell by 24.6% on Sunday

Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session in decline, with the Premier Market and BK Main 50 falling by 3.4% and 1.9%, respectively, and the Main and the All-Share indices dropping by 1.39% and 2.84%, respectively.

The turnover retreated by 24.6% to reach KWD 25.11 million, compared to KWD 33.32 million in the previous session. The trading volume also decreased by 24.6% to 106.87 million shares from 141.72 million.

The banks' sector topped 10 losers with 3.44%, followed by the telecom sector with 3.11%. No rising sectors were registered today.

Coast Investment and Development Company came on top of the fallers with 9.8%, whereas Gulf Investment House (GIH) was the top riser with 10.8%.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 13.58 million shares at a turnover worth KWD 8.48 million, the stock closed down 4.26%.
